-
The Trail Team’s mission is to help runners focused on sub-ultra trail races that need additional support. Athletes competing in the NCAA are typically well supported and have competing interests that might not fit our criteria. If in doubt, apply, or reach out to us. We take every situation on a case-by-case basis.
-
The Trail Team’s mission is to independently support and develop rising trail athletes that need additional support.
Athletes that are well funded will not be chosen for our team. Our goal is to support and develop trail athletes who can get their own sponsorships in the future.
-
The Trail Team athletes will be allowed to have their own coach, live where they would like and train with whom they would like. TTT provides mentorship from established trail elites, a community to build your brand and training camps to perfect your skills.
-
TTT was founded because of the need to build community and support all trail runners as our sport grows. We feel that having a narrow focus and supporting a small group of six elite athletes well is the best way to begin. The team needs to have a shared vision and goals to rise to the tremendous heights of achievement now seen in professional trail running.
In the future we look to have the capacity to expand to elite ultra runners and develop a community that can inspire, support and encourage all. TTT community is a group that will be our testing grounds to reach out to a broader audience.
-
The Trail Team athletes will be allowed to choose their own race schedule. Cross-over athletes that excel in other sports are encouraged to continue competing.
-
Goal races include:
Broken Arrow
Mount Washington
The RUT
Pikes Peak
Cirque Series
USATF Trail Championships

-
The Trail Team athletes will have autonomy to pursue further sponsorships.
Our brand partners will be carefully selected to minimize conflicts and obligations.
We strive to work together with all trail race organizations and brands.
